DAY 1

SCENIC NYUNGWE FOREST NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, you will depart from Kigali and depart towards one of Rwanda's most special national parks. You will head for a short canopy walk in the national park once you get there. In the evening you will head to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2

CHIMPANZEE TREKKING IN SCENIC NYUNGWE FOREST NATIONAL PARK

In the morning you will head into the dense forest to track down the chimpanzees. You will also be able to go for a canopy walk in the forest. It will be an unforgettable day surrounded in the montane rainforest and the chimpanzees.

DAY 3

EXPLORE LAKE KIVU

In the morning you will depart to lake Kivu, it's a beautiful lake area located on the border with the democratic republic of congo. You will get to spend some time on the beaches or go for some activities on the water or go for a hike in the surrounding hills.

DAY 4

ENROUTE TO THE GORILLAS

After breakfast, you will depart towards volcanoes national park while enjoying the beautiful landscapes during the drive. Upon arrival at your accommodation, you will have some time to rest and a briefing about tomorrows trek. You will have dinner before you get ready for your big adventure the next day.

DAY 5

MEET THE GORILLAS

After breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters and after a safety briefing and more information about the gorilla family you will visit, you will start trekking. Once you get to the gorilla family you will have approximately one hour to spend with them.

DAY 6

BACK TO THE CITY

After breakfast, you will start your drive back to Kigali and upon arrival, you can go for some arts and crafts shopping and lunch before heading to the airport or your hotel.
